Overview
Tropical Dry Forests are a unique tropical forest because of their limited distributions, often bordered by tropical savannas. Being fragile systems changed heavily by anthropogenic influences, it is important to understand what a Tropical Dry Forest is and the threats that face them. Key things to keep in mind are global distributions, the actual structure of the forests, what makes them dry forests as compared to moist forests, and most of all what things are being done to protect these forests and/or furthering our knowledge of these forests for future preservation.
